If you’re looking for a fine-tipped brush for all your makeup applications, thereís nothing handier than Laura Mercier brushes. These sets of brushes are all designed for makeup application. Most cosmetics usually have brushes which already come along with the product. These however are not durable enough and usually break after a short time of application. Laura Mercier brushes are longer-lasting and each brush is used for different purposes.

Different brushes are available for the different areas of the face were cosmetics are usually applied. These are some of the brushes used on the face:

The Camouflage Powder Brush as the name suggests is used for shades which are lighter and natural. They are usually used as concealers and face brighteners. It is oval in shape and has a soft-bristled end for a gentle feel on the skin. The Face Brush is an all-over applied brush angled on one end to be applied on the flat areas of the face. The Mineral Primer Brush is round and flat in appearance. It is used prior to makeup application. It glides easily on the skin without those hard-felt tips. The Finishing Brush is used for powder application of blushes, loose powders and powder foundation. It has loosely packed bristles which are of alternate height. This enables the powder to be loosely distributed and to not cloud too much on the brush. The result is an evenly distributed powder finish on the face which does not give out an effect of heavy powder application. You can apply as much blush as you want without your face looking too cakey.

Eye brushes such as the Angled Eye Brush is used for eye base makeup application. It is used to glide into creases and eye edges in precision but with a different effect. It can give depth and definition. The Fine Point Eyeliner Brush is for application of liquid liners. It gives a fine and precise finish without messing up the eyes. The Eye Crease Brush is made especially for lining the creases. For women who are fond of smoky eyes, the Smoky Eye Liner Brush is contoured to create such desired effect. The Pony Tail Brush is also used for creases but is designed medium in length. It can also be used for blending eye shades. The Smudge Brush however creates profound colors on the edges of the eyes.

Brushes for the eyebrows such as the Brow Grooming Brush is stiff-ended designed to prime the brows which usually stick out. The Double-Ended Eye Brow Brush however is stiff on one end and pointed on another. It is used to fill in areas of the brows where hair is unevenly distributed.

The Laura Mercier Brush for the cheekbones includes the Angled Cheek Contour Brush which is angled in appearance to redefine the apples of the cheeks. Glide across the cheekbones while angling upward toward the temples to highlight this bony area.

These are just some of the commonly used brushes from Laura Mercier. The mini-brush set usually comes along with a pouch and 5-8 kinds of brushes useful for everyday use.
